Start Residency Confident — Not Overwhelmed
Built specifically for physicians, by physicians who have been there.
Because the research is clear: connection is what gets doctors through.
Medical training has not always made it safe or easy to ask for help.
Medicine has never made it easy to ask for help.
By the time many physicians recognize the signs of burnout, the stress has often been building for months.
Too many support programs are designed from the outside, without fully understanding what it feels like to train, work, and carry responsibility inside medicine.
BuddiesSpace was built with that understanding — and designed specifically for you.
You do not have to figure this out alone
Join a community of physicians who are choosing to take care of themselves the same way they take care of their patients. Seriously, proactively, and with the right support around them.
Access guidance, peer support, and resources when you need them most.
THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL FAILURE. IT IS A SYSTEMIC ONE.

Testimonials
What physicians are saying......
The peer support element made the biggest difference. It felt like someone finally understood.
I felt unprepared before residency. BuddiesSpace helped me realize I was not alone and gave me practical tools before Day 1.
It helped normalize the stress of transition and gave me language for what I was experiencing.

OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Alaa Elnajjar
BuddiesSpace was founded by Dr. Alaa Elnajjar, a child and adolescent psychiatrist who experienced burnout firsthand. Even with clinical awareness, navigating it alone proved difficult. BuddiesSpace was created so physicians in training can access support earlier — not after they are already overwhelmed.
